Our headquarters at the Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam hosts amongst others our support, development, and Sales Engineering teams. It is also the venue where we build and test our systems before they are shipped around the world for installation.
Who You Are
We are looking for a Sales Engineer with several years of experience in the audiovisual industry to join our Sales Engineering team in Rotterdam.
Once our Sales team qualifies a lead, you will join during the discovery phase to act as the technical and commercial link between our clients, design engineers, and project teams. You will identify client needs, propose tailored integration solutions, and ensure every project meets ONEXP’s technical and quality standards.
You also enjoy presenting proposals and delivering clear, engaging briefings that show clients how our solutions bring their vision to life and go beyond their expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with yacht builders, owners, and management companies to understand their requirements
- Prepare detailed technical proposals, system designs, and quotations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define scopes and ensure feasibility
- Present technical and design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Oversee the handover from sales to project delivery to ensure a smooth execution
- Monitor industry trends, technologies, and innovations within the superyacht AV/IT domain
What We Expect
- Several years of experience as a Sales Engineer in the audiovisual or IT domain, ideally with IT networking and security knowledge
- Strong technical understanding combined with commercial awareness
- Excellent written and spoken English; Dutch is an advantage
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 10% of your time, sometimes on short notice
