About us

At ONEXP we specialize in audio, video, information technology and communication technology for superyachts and ultra-luxury residences. We offer a unique and bespoke suite of solutions and services within this field, incorporating advisory, project realisation, support, and product development. Currently we work on- and have delivered - some of the world’s most prestigious projects both at sea and on land with breathtaking designs and outstanding results that exceed the expectations of some of the most demanding clients who are not easily impressed.

At our HQ, which is based in the famous Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam, we have various teams such as our support teams, development teams, and our Project Management team. This is also the venue where we prepare and test our solutions.

Within our international IT team, we are currently looking for a Network Engineer with solid exposure to Cisco products, to join our ranks.

Who you are

As an experienced Network Engineer you know how to build and support reliable, secure networks tailored to the unique demands of various clients. Tools and technology in your toolbox include amongst others: Cisco, Fortinet, storage solutions, Wi-Fi , and routing hardware. Also you enjoy seeing your hard work come to fruition, meaning you will help troubleshoot not only in our lab but also during the installation phase of a project.

You are also curious by nature. As we are an AV/IT integrator, various teams work on the same project simultaneously. So an interest in AV systems and how they work, will make you more successful in this role, rather than only focussing on the IT networks.

What we expect

Next to that, you bring:

• Solid experience in enterprise network environments, ideally with Cisco and Fortinet exposure;

• Strong knowledge of storage systems, Wi-Fi technologies, security and routing/switching;

• A problem-solver who learns quickly, communicates well, and enjoys working across cultures and teams;

• Willingness to travel internationally occasionally to the superyachts;

• Fluent English skills; additional languages are a plus.

If you don’t have the AV experience yet, you at least have an above average affinity with our industry. We have a proven track record of navigating new colleagues through our field of work. You bring the attitude; we help you to become successful.

As we are an IT & AV integrator, our teams work very closely together. The majority of your stakeholders work from the Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam. Working remote is not an option for this role.
